COORDINATOR

Assist the design team at our Minneapolis studio with daily operational functions as they design and develop North City Studios furniture products.

Assist with the product design process. Assist with the creation of presentations for key design milestones. Assist with renderings and Photoshop work. Assist with product specifications and CADs. Assist with product comments. Assist with departmental administrative tasks. Maintain seasonal concept documents "Room documents". Coordinate set up for product and assortment reviews. Create and maintain line charts for Collaborator projects. Partner with finish and fabric teams to maintain swatch libraries. Manage design samples through their entire lifecycle. Partner with Tech Design to track samples and manage sample receipt and logging. Partner with facilities to organize and maintain sample storage and review spaces. Coordinate internal relocation and sample archiving.

A degree in design or equivalent experience is required. Experience with drafting, 3D modeling, and rendering preferred (we use Graphite, AutoCAD, Rhino and Keyshot) Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Outlook are essential.


JUNIOR

DESIGNER

We have openings in our Minneapolis studio for Junior Architectural Designers with a passion for thoughtful, forward-thinking design. Candidates will have a portfolio of architecture for commercial office, mixed-use, and/or institutional clients.

Ideally, they will have a NAAB professional degree from an accredited architecture or interior design program and one to three years of professional experience.

Junior Architectural Designers work directly with architects and interior designers through all project phases on a wide-array of project types, sizes, and complexities.

Qualities desired to excel in this role include an ability to be facile at problem-solving, and strong presentation and communication skills. An aptitude for strong design and an ability to work on teams in a collaborative environment is also sought and valued. Candidates should possess proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.


SALES

DIRECTOR

Furniture Sales Associates have a passion for helping customers see what is possible with the latest on-trend merchandise. They do this by building meaningful and long-term relationships with their customers, and use their comprehensive knowledge to guide and advise customers looking to furnish an entire room or simply add an accent piece.

Our Furniture Sales Associates are up-to-date on the latest trends, and are trained to work with a range of design styles from classic to contemporary. In addition, Furniture Sales Associates utilize digital tools and technology during in-store and in-home consultations to show our customers how our furniture, fabrics, and decor can bring their vision to life.
